she gets strange places

6 is the smallest perfect number - [Voice]

Black hole. Heavy gravity well.

It's hungry, keeps pulling in more. Pulling us in because we're the biggest bite it's had in a long time.

We get pulled in, even a ship this big won't make it. Not sure what'll give first. Windows might go first in the pressure, suck out everything before the safety protocols go up.

The lucky ones might pass out first from lack of oxygen, not feel themselves go. Unlucky ones might decompress. Explosively. Or go into hypoxia and have their blood boil.

Might be best to get lucky and be rescued.

[Sorry for the morbidity but this sort of TMI is something River has gone for in the past. She thinks she's doing a good thing telling stuff straight. Also apologies for any inaccuracies. River is very smart in these things but I am not.]

[ CRASH! ]

[Oh hey, it's the sound of plates breaking. Several plates. An entire pile actually.]

Dude, that was not my fault! You pushed me, that's manhandling!

Okay, so I might have tripped, but it's still not my fault. Come oooooonnnnn, I'm starving. I feel like I haven't eaten in a month! I'm dizzy and... Look, Dude Alien thing, have a heart. Or two. Whaaat are you doing? YOUDON'THAVETOTOUCH--argh!

[Wally moves out of the way in a blur, but.... he ends up knocking over another pile of plates. The Alien he was arguing with grabs dear Wallace by the arm and "escorts" him out of the buffet.]

This is so unfair! It was an accident! ... Fine! See if I come back here, you'll lose your best costumer.

[Wally lands in a heap on the ground and his Guide is thrown out after him, then the feed cuts out.]
Let's Take This Slow

011. [Video]

[Ryoji is sitting next to a porthole that has a pretty good view of the black hole beneath it.]

I know the black hole has put a lot of us on edge because... well, we don't know what's going to happen if we get sucked in. A lot of us are convinced that we'll die if we're sucked in.

[He looks out the porthole at the black hole below.]

Death and dying are natural occurrences... but in this place, the definition of natural occurrences is pretty impressive. Has anyone thought about the possibility of something else happening if we were sucked in? Like, if the ship somehow survives, and if there's something waiting on the other side?

[He continues to watch the black hole for a while, before looking away, shaking his head with a chuckle.]

Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part...
